Cooperative
Purchasing
There are several programs which provide
discounted pricing for cooperative purchasing
that member
libraries can use.
The Materials Cooperative provides discounts
on books and audio-visual materials. The
Supplies Cooperative provides discounts on
hundreds of library-related supplies. Both
cooperatives conform to the provisions of
Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 30B, the
Uniform Procurement Act.
Some online databases are provided to our
member libraries on a group purchase arrangement
with savings up to 5% to 25% depending on
the vendors agreement.
